This is what it looks like when ministries work together. ❤️

Several weeks ago, a precious friend from Broken Chains named Sherry stepped in to help Emotional Recovery Clinic by engraving our clinic mugs.

She did it completely free of charge.

Then the unexpected happened.

After spending hours engraving each mug, she shipped them to us—and FedEx lost the entire order.

Most people would have understandably said, “I tried.”

Not Sherry.

Knowing how important these mugs are to the women and men who attend our clinics, she ordered new mugs from Amazon with her own money, stayed up all night engraving every single one again, and overnighted them to make sure they arrived on time.

She never asked ERC for reimbursement.
She never sent us a bill.
She never asked for recognition.

She simply served.

In a world that often celebrates self-promotion, Sherry chose sacrifice. In a culture that often compares ministries, she chose collaboration.

This is what the Body of Christ is supposed to look like.

Different ministries.
One Kingdom.
One mission.

At Emotional Recovery Clinic, we are grateful for partners like Broken Chains who understand that helping hurting people matters more than who gets the credit.

Sherry, thank you for your generosity, your servant’s heart, and your willingness to go above and beyond for people you may never even meet. Your kindness reached far beyond a mug—it reminded us that we are not doing this work alone.

When ministries stop competing and start collaborating, lives are changed.

The mugs arrived on time, but the real gift was being reminded that we serve a God who uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things.

Thank you, Sherry. Thank you, Broken Chains. We are better together. ❤️

Now that I got your attention….Go love someone!

Today we pause to remember the heroes who gave everything so others could live in freedom. Their sacrifice reminds us that the greatest acts of love often come through selfless service.

As people of faith, we are reminded that sacrifice has always carried purpose, hope, and the promise of something greater. Because of courageous men and women who answered the call, generations have been blessed with freedoms many never had the opportunity to know.

This Memorial Day, may we honor their legacy not only with our words, but with grateful hearts, stronger faith, and a commitment to love and serve others well.

From our Broken Chains family to yours, we pray your day is filled with peace, reflection, hope, and the blessings of those gathered around you.

"We remember. We honor. We are grateful." 🇺🇸
