Monroe Camp and Retreat Center Camp Monroe has been welcoming camper since 1954 offering a vibrant Christian summer camp experience each June-August.

We are year-round retreat center able to accommodate Church groups, retreats, reunions, weddings, and specialties for all ages. Settled on 300 acres in Scotland County, Monroe Camp and Retreat Center has been home to a Christian-based summer camp experience for children ages 5-18 since 1954. We also host a variety of events and programs ranging from weddings, family reunions, and retreats for vari

ous groups and organizations. Affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA) and the Presbytery of Coastal Carolina.

Summer 2026 is almost over! With just two weeks of Travel Camp left, we are officially finished with camp on location for the summer.

Here at Camp Monroe, we want to take a moment to thank every staff member who gave their all to make this summer unforgettable. We couldn’t do what we do without an incredible team of young people who work so hard behind the scenes to make the magic of camp happen.

From early mornings to late nights, these staff members have poured their time, energy, and hearts into making Camp Monroe a special place for every camper who walked through our gates.

We are so grateful that God sent each of them here this summer. We truly could not do it without them.

Thank you, Camp Monroe staff, for an amazing summer! We are so proud of you and all that you have accomplished.
