LHBC sent a team of 13 to Spruce Pine, NC in August to assist with Hurricane Helene repairs. The group painted a new build, buried pipe for a house that flooded, completed yard work, cleaned the Baptist on Mission host facility, raised a house on new posts, and enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship.

If you want to laugh and enjoy great food you need to join us next time. The Senior Adults always have lots of fun when we get together. Everyone enjoyed the Nacho Bar and seeing if they were “Smarter Than A 5th Grader”. And the Sopapilla Cheesecake was amazing. In this season of teachers and students of all ages headed back to school and college our theme was “Back To School” and everyone was given a school themed square piece of material so it would help remind them to daily pray for both teachers and students and also for the Sunday School teachers and everyone who works teaching in our church. It was a fun night and could not happen without everyone who works so hard to make it a special time for our Senior Adults. Congratulations to the winning team “Travelers”.

We had a lot of fun tonight combining our Senior Adults and Young Adults (College & Career Kids). Lots of great food, games and fellowship. Come join us next month. You don’t want to miss out on a good time. A new adventure every month.
