MID-WEEK MEDITATION

This verse from Psalm 143:10 is a heartfelt plea for divine guidance and instruction. Prayer for Today's Verse

Strengthen us to obey Your commands and live in a way that brings glory to You, in Yeshua’s name. Amen.

BLESSINGS MISHPACHAH! This is the day that Adonai made we will rejoice and be glad in it.

I command the manifold blessings and favor of Adonai to rest upon us and our household today and always as I command our day.

I cancel every demonic activity / assignment that has been programmed into our day to work against us, and I command our day / week/ month / year to work in our favor and bring us multiplied breakthroughs in every area of ourlives. I Superimpose Proverbs 10:22 and decree that it governs ourlives and community.

MEDITATION / DECLARATION

Proverbs 10:22 TLV
The blessing of Adonai brings wealth and He adds no trouble with it.

בִּרְכַּת יְהוָה הִיא תַעֲשִׁיר וְלֹא־יוֹסִף עֶצֶב עִמָּה
(Birkat Yahweh hi ta'ashir velo-yosif etzev immah)

Birkat (בִּרְכַּת)
This is the construct form of Berakah, meaning "blessing" or "favor." In Hebrew, it implies a divine empowerment or a gift that confers well-being and fulfillment beyond just money.

Ta’ashir (תַּעֲשִׁיר)
From the root ashar, meaning "to enrich" or "to make rich." This verb is in a form (Hiphil) that indicates God is the active cause of the enrichment. It covers holistic abundance—material, spiritual, and emotional.

Etzev (עֶצֶב)
Commonly translated as "sorrow," but its deeper Hebrew meaning includes "painful toil," "grievous labor," or "struggle." It is the same word used in Genesis 3 to describe the "toil" and "sorrow" that entered the world after the Fall.

Velo-yosif (וְלֹא־יוֹסִף)
Meaning "and [He] does not add." This emphasizes that when Adonai bestows the blessing, He does not attach the "toil" or "sorrow" that often accompanies worldly success.

Proverbs 10:22, emphasizes that true prosperity comes from divine favor rather than toil alone. The "blessings of Adonai" (the LORD) bring holistic wealth—spiritual, emotional, and material—without the burden of sorrow, anxiety, or negative consequences that often accompany worldly gains.

Divine Empowerment

Adonai's blessing is a force that creates prosperity.

There's No Sorrow
Unlike wealth acquired through greed or dishonest gain, Adonai's blessing adds no toil or pain to the enjoyment of it.

Holistic Abundance
The wealth mentioned isn't solely financial; it includes peace, family, health, and spiritual satisfaction.

We Must Emunah (Trust)
As Messianic Believers we must rely on Adonai's providence rather than desperate, frantic efforts to get rich or make money.
