Joshua 1:9 | "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

This verse is a divine reminder that courage is not the absence of fear but faith in motion even when fear whispers loud. God was preparing Joshua to lead Israel into the Promised Land, a task filled with uncertainty and giants ahead. Yet God didn't tell him to rely on his own strength. He commanded him to draw strength from His presence.

Many times, we face seasons that shake our confidence, sickness, loss or betrayal and fear creeps in to paralyze us. But God's command still stands: Be strong. Be courageous. He never promised an easy road but He promised His unfailing presence. When fear rises, remember who walks beside you. Stand tall, for your victory is already secured in the One who goes before you.

Word Of Today

Galatians 5:22–23 | The evidence of God's presence in your life is not only found in what you say you believe but in the character you allow Him to build within you. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control are not simply qualities to admire but fruits that should become visible through your daily life.

You may pray for God to change your circumstances, open doors or bless your plans but sometimes the greater work He wants to do is within you. When someone hurts you, He teaches you patience. When you are provoked, He teaches you self-control. When life becomes difficult, He teaches you peace. When others fail you, He teaches you faithfulness and forgiveness.

Ask yourself today: Can people see Christ in the way I respond, speak, forgive and treat others? Spiritual growth is not measured by how loudly we speak about God but by how deeply His character is reflected in us.

Do not become discouraged by the areas where you are still growing. Fruit takes time to develop. Continue walking with God, surrendering your heart to the Holy Spirit each day. As you remain connected to Him, your character will change, your relationships will be strengthened and your life will become a beautiful reflection of Christ's love.

Thought For Today

Don’t let the negative take up the most space. Relive your victories. Dwell on what’s right about you and not what’s wrong with you. You can’t become who you were created to be if you’re negative toward yourself. Yes, there are forces trying to stop us, but I wonder if you are your own worst enemy. Circumstances may be against you, people will come against you, but you can overcome those things. The problem is if you are against you. If you’re negative toward yourself, that will keep you from your destiny.
