Word Of Today

Proverbs 3:5-6
The passage teaches us to trust in the Lord with all our heart and not rely solely on our own understanding. Human wisdom is limited and we often can't see the full picture of what lies ahead. God, however, knows the beginning and the end and guides His children according to His perfect will.

To trust God with all our heart means surrendering our fears, doubts, plans and ambitions to Him. It requires faith even when circumstances seem uncertain or difficult. The passage also encourages us to acknowledge God in all our ways through our decisions, relationships, work and daily actions.

The promise is that God will direct our paths. He provides wisdom, guidance and clarity to those who seek Him sincerely. This does not mean life will be free from challenges but it assures us that God will lead us through them.

These verses encourage us to walk by faith, trusting that God's plans are always best.

Word Of Today

Matthew 5:3 | This verse teaches us about the importance of humility before God. Jesus reminds us that those who are poor in spirit are blessed because they recognize their need for God in every aspect of life. Being poor in spirit does not mean being weak or lacking value. Rather, it means understanding that our strength, wisdom and success come from God and not from ourselves alone.

Many times, people rely on their own abilities and forget to seek God's guidance. However, this reading encourages us to approach God with humble hearts, acknowledging that we need His grace, mercy and direction every day. When we place our trust in Him, He fills us with hope, peace and spiritual strength.

This reflection challenges us to let go of pride and self-reliance and instead depend on God. A humble heart opens the door for God's blessings and brings us closer to His Kingdom, where true joy and lasting fulfillment are found.

John 15:2
The image of a vine and its branches are used as an example to show us how God works in the lives of believers. Jesus Christ explains that every branch connected to Him that bears fruit is pruned so it can become even more fruitful, while branches that bear no fruit are removed. This reveals God's desire for spiritual growth and a productive life rooted in Him.

This verse reminds us that seasons of correction, discipline or challenge are not always punishment but often part of God's process of shaping us for greater purpose. Just as a gardener trims a plant to help it grow stronger, God refines our character so we can reflect His goodness more clearly. When we remain connected to Christ our lives begin to produce love, faith, wisdom and lasting impact for others.

When we are in the pit, in a difficult time, God uses that pit stop to refuel us, to get us ready for the next season of our life. *The way you refuel is through your praise, by finding something to be grateful for, by not dwelling on what’s wrong but thanking God for what’s right, by not focusing on what you lost but thanking God for what you have left, by not complaining about what’s behind you but by being grateful for what’s in front of you.*

God will never abandon what He has begun; He faithfully completes every purpose He has for you. He knows what is best, and even when we try to follow our own plans, His will ultimately prevails. The Lord never leaves His work unfinished. As you wait on Him, allow His love to fill your heart and strengthen your faith. Stay full of hope and expectation, knowing that His power is limitless, and He will bring a breakthrough in His perfect time.
