Our newest SGA Spotlight is Junior Class Secretary, Courtney Kloos! We are so thankful for all of the ideas she brings to meetings and her dedication to SGA over the past years.

"I chose to be a member of SGA because I wanted to be more involved in the Saint Vincent community. I have found that this organization helps students realize how strong their own individual voices truly can be when it comes to making a difference.”

“My favorite memory of SGA will come this August when our current capital project, the remodeling of the Carey center, takes place. I am ecstatic to see the new and improved renovations but most importantly the reactions of the student body."

Congratulations, Courtney!

Check out our newest SGA Spotlight, Megan Miller! Megan is a sophomore class senator and serves as chair of the FMO committee.

Megan's favorite thing about SGA is "getting to be a part of the "behind the scenes" activities for Springfest, Homecoming, and the yearly Capital Project. It's great knowing that you had a small role in events that mean so much to the other students on campus. Some of the projects I've gotten to vote on will be on campus for much longer than I will, and making a positive impact on SVC while I'm here is super important to me."

Her favorite memory is her first office hour. "I was asked to join SGA during the second semester of freshman year, so I had no idea what was going on at first. I was nervous before showing up to my office hour, but everyone there immediately made me feel welcome. Kaitlyn Sciullo showed me how to sign in, told me a little more about SGA, and offered to answer any questions I had. From then on, I've realized that SGA is full of helpful, friendly people like her. My first office hour may have been at the start of my SGA career, but it's a memory that has stuck with me as I moved forward."

Congratulations, Megan!

Our first SGA Spotlight of the Spring 2018 Semester is Scott Becker!

Scott is a Gerard Hall Representative and serves as the Residence Life Committee Chair.

His favorite thing about SGA is "the fact that it brings so many people together...different majors, years, and all types of people." Scott's favorite SGA memory is "from freshman year when [he] and Mitch spent a few extra hours jamming out to Christmas songs and creating the candy canes we use to decorate Melvin Platz."

•Congratulations, Scott!•
