πŸ“ What a Great Start to Pickleball at OLA! πŸ“

We had an incredible turnout for our first Pickleball 101 evening, with more than 25 people coming out to learn, play, and enjoy a beautiful summer evening together!

From first-time players to those looking to sharpen their skills, parishioners of all ages joined in the fun. It was wonderful to see families, friends, and neighbors laughing, learning, and building community both on and off the court.

A special thank you to everyone who helped organize the event and to all who came out and gave pickleball a try. The enthusiasm and fellowship made for a fantastic evening!

Whether you came to play, learn, cheer others on, or simply enjoy the company, you helped make this a great example of what it means to be One Family in Faith.

πŸ’§ Welcome to Our Parish Family, John Andrew Link IV! πŸ’§

This weekend, we were blessed to celebrate the Baptism of John Andrew Link IV.

Through the waters of Baptism, John was welcomed into the Church and began a new life in Christ. We give thanks to God for this special day and for the love and faith of his family as they nurture him on his journey of faith.

Please join us in praying for John, his parents, godparents, and family, that they may continue to grow in God’s grace and love.

β€œLet the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” – Matthew 19:14

πŸ™ Welcome, John Andrew, to the family of God!

Celebrate Corpus Christi With Us

This weekend, we celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi β€” the Body and Blood of Christ.

In the Eucharist, Christ gives us the gift of His own divine life. We are also reminded that we are called to be the Body of Christ: many people, many backgrounds, one family united in faith.

We look forward to seeing you at Mass this weekend, June 6–7.

God bless.

πŸŽΆπŸŽ“ Celebrating Our Young Musicians! πŸŽ“πŸŽΆ

Last evening, Father Tom had the pleasure of attending the Shaker High School Senior Night Concert, a special celebration honoring the talented graduating musicians of the Class of 2026.

The evening featured outstanding performances by Shaker’s premier ensembles and concluded with recognition of the graduating seniors whose dedication, hard work, and love of music have enriched their school community.

We were especially proud to see several of our OLA youth sharing their gifts through music. Their commitment, discipline, and willingness to use their talents to bring joy to others is a wonderful reflection of the gifts God has given them.

Please join us in congratulating all of the graduating seniors and in thanking our OLA youth musicians for representing our parish so well. We wish them God’s blessings as they begin the next chapter of their journeys.

🎡 Congratulations, Class of 2026!
πŸ™ We are proud of you and will keep you in our prayers.

🦁🌿 Help Make VBS 2026 a Wildly Wonderful Week for Our Kids! 🌿🦁

To help make this week special for our children and volunteers, we’ve created an Amazon Wish List with supplies, crafts, decorations, prizes, and activity items that will help bring the experience to life.

✝️ HOLY TRINITY SUNDAY ✝️

This weekend, we celebrate the mystery of the Holy Trinity β€” Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

In his weekly message, Fr. Tom reminds us of the words we hear at the beginning of every Mass:

"The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all."

Each time we make the Sign of the Cross and respond to these words, we say "yes" to God's invitation to live in His love.

Join us this weekend as we gather to worship, pray, and be renewed in that love.

This past Saturday, our parish family was blessed to celebrate the Baptism of Jack and Zoe Van Vorst and Finnegan Miter.

Through the waters of Baptism, they have become children of God and members of our parish family. We pray that the Lord will bless them abundantly and guide them throughout their lives in faith, hope, and love.

Congratulations to the Van Vorst and Miter families on this beautiful and sacred day. Thank you for sharing this special moment with our parish community.

πŸ₯ž Thank You for a Wonderful Pancake Breakfast! πŸ₯ž

Thank you to everyone who joined us last Sunday for our parish Pancake Breakfast!

It was a wonderful morning of fellowship, great food, and community as parishioners gathered together after Mass to share conversation and enjoy time with one another.

A special thank you to our Youth Ministry teens and all of the volunteers who helped prepare, cook, serve, set up, and clean up throughout the morning. Your generosity, teamwork, and joyful spirit helped make the event such a success.

From cooking pancakes and French toast to welcoming guests and serving tables, it was inspiring to see our young people serving the parish with such care and enthusiasm.

Events like these continue to strengthen our parish family and remind us what β€œOne Family in Faith” truly looks like.

Thank you again to all who attended and supported the breakfast. We are grateful for each of you!
