Week 1 of Lead the Way is in the books! We talked about how God called Moses to lead and rescue the Israelites. Remember, God teaches us to lead.

In the jungle, every day is an unpredictable adventure! But to safely navigate the vines, animals and tricky terrain, we'll need a guide to help us. Our September series follows the life of Moses and his journey to leading the Israelites out of Egypt. Through his story, we'll discover how God teaches us how to lead, and learn how to follow God's lead as God leads us to safety and to what we need.

The jungle is full of surprises and, sometimes, so is God's plan! Sunday, we will learn that God speaks to Moses through a burning bush and calls him to do something huge - help rescue the Israelites from Egypt. Moses didn't feel ready, but God showed him how to lead one step at a time. When we listen and learn, God teaches us how to lead.

We wrapped up week 4 of "In Your Dreams" - we had a conversation with a new chapter for Israel after Joseph. Remember, our Big Idea - we can follow God above anyone else.

Joseph's story came to an end, but God's people still had a long journey ahead. Tomorrow, we will see that a new king in Egypt treated the Israelites badly and tried to stop them from growing. But even in hard times, they kept trusting and honoring God first. When we are not sure of what to do, we can obey God above anyone else.
