It is with feelings of grief and sadness, yet with peace that we share the passing of our dear friend and brother Pastor Cody Huff, founder of Broken Chains Ministry, who went home to be with the Lord early Saturday morning, September 17, 2022. Many of you knew him as a man passionate for Jesus Christ who was full of love, compassion, grace, mercy, faith and hope. To those who knew and loved him, we share in your pain, as we continue on without our loyal friend and brother.

His life was well invested.
Enjoy your heavenly rest my brother as you are now REALLY healed!

Please pray for his wife Heather, the Huff and Ralston family, Broken Chains Ministry and the body of Christ as we navigate this difficult time and plan his celebration. Thank you!

Broken Chains Homeless Ministry is looking for a mobile groomer that is willing to give 90 minutes of their time on ANY of the following dates in December to give our homeless people's pets a much needed grooming.

If you would like to help love and care for those pets whose owners don't have a lot, we would love to hear from you! This groomer must be able to come to Myron Leavitt Park on ANY of the following dates: December 2nd, December 9th, December 16th or December 30th from 11am to 12:30pm during our outreach.

This past Thursday’s outreach was incredible! We prayed for many of our homeless to be released from addiction and most importantly, we prayed for them to come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior!

Pastor Kevin Chapman’s sermon was entitled:
“What do you see?” In Jeremiah 24, God asked Jeremiah “what do you see?” “Fruit” replied Jeremiah.

God asked Amos, “what do you see?” “Fruit” replied Amos.

In Mark 8:1-31, we learned that God doesn’t provide provision the same way sometimes. God doesn’t let you go away hungry when you are seeking Him.

Pastor Kevin asked the question: Do you see God as Healer, as Provider and do you see and hear Him in the Spirit?

God wants us to stand firm in Him. 🙏❤️

Pastor Kevin preached a powerful message this past Thursday on Proverbs 4 and Ephesians 6:12-13! We need to be seated with Christ and recognize that we are in an unseen war. We are not to war with other people but recognize evil and flee from it. We are to put on every piece of God's armor so we can resist the enemy.

"If you prize wisdom, she will make you great. Embrace her, and she will honor you. She will place a lovely wreath on your head; she will present you with a beautiful crown." Proverbs 4:8-9 NLT

"For we are not fighting against flesh and blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places." Ephesians 6:12 NLT

This past Thursday, we had an amazing outreach! Pastor Cody came to the park and gave a healing testimony and Pastor Kevin preached an incredible message on Matthew Chapter 9!

Pastor Kevin taught us that when the naysayers come into your life, you have to look to Jesus and believe Him! Have faith that Jesus has forgiven your sins, He can heal you and He doesn't want you to keep putting new wine into old wineskins. Maybe the way you've always done things is keeping you stuck and going in circles!

Matthew 9:17 "And no one puts new wine into old wineskins. For the old skins would burst from the pressure, spilling the wine and ruining the skins. New wine is stored in new wineskins so that both are preserved."
