We are asking that all parents allow their children to bring their electronic devices (i.e cell phones, tablets) to class. Hanani's holiday cards for Jacob was a success. We will be sending our cards out this Friday (after all the glitter glue dries)😃.

This 9-year-old in Maine with Stage 4 High Risk Neuroblastoma wants cards for his early "last Christmas."

During our Hanani class a prayer box is made available to all students who wish to ask for prayer for themselves or others. Each week I am overwhelmed by the requests. Below are some of the requests from our children. Out of respect for the children I will not post their names.

Dear God,
Please help my family see our other family. Please help me to become a leader. I repent for all the nasty things I have done. Please help me be better with my integrity. In Jesus Name, Amen

Dear Lord,
Please help me seek more of Your Word. Please help and bless those that are homeless and those who are sick. In Jesus Name, Amen

Dear Lord,
Please help me, my mom, and my dad, and also my brother. Please forgive me for my sins. Please watch over me and help me with all of my struggles and all choices the choices I make.

Dear God,
I pray People that don't know Jesus get to know Him. Lord please help me get to understand Your Word. Please let me meet new friends at my school.

Father in the name of Christ Jesus, we thank You that
Your eyes are upon our children. Your ears are
attentive to their prayers, and Your face is against
those who plot evil against them. We pray they would delight themselves in You so that You can grant them the desires of their hearts. Lord Your Word declares all work for the good of those who love You. Therefore, in all things our children are more than conquerors. Lord, we pray Your favor, authority, and harvest will belong to our children. Teach us parents to do our part in raising them according to Your will. Teach us also how to
pray against all powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces of darkness in heavenly realms. Lord, protect us as we wage warfare in all levels of worship, prayer and service on behalf of our children. We bind the evil forces of rebellion, pride, malice, and defeat from attacking our children. We cast them down and we declare they are under our feet. In Christ Jesus name, Amen.

That's right! Today is the day for our first field trip of the year! We are asking that all children wear red shirts to the event. Also, as a reminder, we will be at the Springs Preserve from 1pm-4pm. Please make arrangements to be there for pickup at 3:45pm. Thanks in advance and we look forward to seeing you in a few hours!

The Hanani Children's Ministry is gearing up for their first Field Trip of the year. Please remember all money for admission to the Springs Preserve is due no later than March 12. If you would like your child to attend or for more information, please contact Minister Karmella Marino.

Daily Devotional: What Love Is

This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:10 NIV

What is real love? God is always watching over you, always caring for you, always ready to hear your prayers, and always willing to forgive you, no matter what.

The Bible says that the very best thing God ever did to show us how much He loves us was sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to die for us. So, today and everyday, give God thanks for all the love He has given you. Praise Him for His Son, for His blessings, for His protection, and for His life-giving love.

Thought of the Day: Love is patient, kind, and slow to get angry. Practice those three things today.

Pray Today: Dear God, thank You for sending Your Son to this earth so that I could know what real love is. In Christ Jesus name, Amen.

Don't you know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you? 1 Corinthians 3:16 NCV

The Bible has clear instructions about taking care of yourself. You see, God gave you a wonderful, amazing, one of a kind body, and He wants you to take good care of it. So it's important to start learning to make good choices.

Can you think of ten things you can do to take care of your body? Here are some ideas to get you started: 1. Eat healthier foods. 2. Always buckle your seatbelt. 3. Get plenty of sleep. What others can you think of?

Your body is a precious gift, so start making smart and healthy habits today!
