🌙 Reminder: The Blessed 10 Days of Dhul Hijjah Begin May 18, 2026 Insha Allah

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

Dear brothers and sisters,

The first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah are among the greatest and most beloved days to Allah سبحانه وتعالى.

Allah says:

﴿ وَالْفَجْرِ • وَلَيَالٍ عَشْرٍ ﴾
“By the dawn, and by the ten nights.”
— سورة الفجر ١-٢

Ibn Abbas رضي الله عنهما reported that the Prophet ﷺ said:

« مَا مِنْ أَيَّامٍ الْعَمَلُ الصَّالِحُ فِيهَا أَحَبُّ إِلَى اللَّهِ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْأَيَّامِ الْعَشْرِ »

“There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days.”
— Sahih al-Bukhari

🌿 What should we do during these blessed days?

✅ Pray on time and increase voluntary prayers
✅ Read and reflect on the Qur’an daily
✅ Increase Dhikr and Takbeer:

الله أكبر الله أكبر لا إله إلا الله
الله أكبر الله أكبر ولله الحمد

✅ Fast especially the Day of Arafah/May 26 or a day before EID
✅ Give charity and help others
✅ Make sincere Tawbah and Dua
✅ Maintain family ties and good character
✅ Prepare for Qurbani/Udhiyah if able

Allah says:

﴿ وَاذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ فِي أَيَّامٍ مَعْلُومَاتٍ ﴾
“And remember Allah during the appointed days.”
— سورة الحج ٢٨

🌙 About the Day of Arafah:

The Prophet ﷺ said:

« مَا مِنْ يَوْمٍ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ أَنْ يُعْتِقَ اللَّهُ فِيهِ عَبْدًا مِنَ النَّارِ مِنْ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ »

“There is no day on which Allah frees more people from the Fire than the Day of Arafah.”
— Sahih Muslim

And he ﷺ said:

« صِيَامُ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ أَحْتَسِبُ عَلَى اللَّهِ أَنْ يُكَفِّرَ السَّنَةَ الَّتِي قَبْلَهُ وَالسَّنَةَ الَّتِي بَعْدَهُ »

“Fasting the Day of Arafah expiates the sins of the previous year and the coming year.”
— Sahih Muslim

The Prophet ﷺ also said:

« أَفْضَلُ الْأَيَّامِ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ يَوْمُ عَرَفَةَ »

“The greatest day in the sight of Allah is the Day of Arafah.”

May Allah allow us to witness these blessed days, increase us in worship, forgive our sins, and accept our good deeds.

Reminder for Today!!
The Prophet ﷺ said:
‎«سَيَأْتِي عَلَى النَّاسِ سَنَوَاتٌ خَدَّاعَاتٌ، يُصَدَّقُ فِيهَا الْكَاذِبُ، وَيُكَذَّبُ فِيهَا الصَّادِقُ، وَيُؤْتَمَنُ فِيهَا الْخَائِنُ، وَيُخَوَّنُ فِيهَا الْأَمِينُ، وَيَنْطِقُ فِيهَا الرُّوَيْبِضَةُ»

Time will come deceptive years upon the people:
the liar will be believed,
the truthful will be called a liar,
the dishonest will be trusted,
the trustworthy will be accused,
and the Ruwaybidah will speak about public affairs.”
They asked: “Who are the Ruwaybidah, O Messenger of Allah?”
He ﷺ said:
‎«الرَّجُلُ التَّافِهُ يَتَكَلَّمُ فِي أَمْرِ الْعَامَّةِ»

An insignificant foolish person speaking about the affairs of the people.”

Today, many people measure truth by followers, popularity, and loudness rather than sincerity, knowledge, and fear of Allah.

May Allah make us among the truthful, protect our hearts from deception🙏🏽

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji‘un

The Janazah prayer for our beloved brother Tura Hassan will be held today.

We ask Allah ﷻ to forgive all his sins, have mercy upon him, expand his grave, and grant him the highest level in Jannah (Al-Firdaws).

اللهم اغفر له وارحمه، وعافه واعف عنه، وأكرم نزله، ووسع مدخله، واجعل قبره روضة من رياض الجنة

Allahumma ighfir lahu warhamhu, wa ‘afihi wa‘fu ‘anhu, wa akrim nuzulahu, wa wassi‘ mudkhalahu, waj‘al qabrahu rawdatan min riyad al-jannah.

May Allah grant patience and strength to his family and loved ones.
