An unforgettable evening is coming to Las Vegas.

Join us as we welcome the Heroes of ZAKA and hear powerful first-hand accounts from those who responded with courage, compassion, and unwavering dedication in the aftermath of October 7.

This is an opportunity to learn more about what ZAKA does, show gratitude to the brave volunteers who perform sacred work with dignity and selflessness, and to draw strength and inspiration from their incredible stories.

Tonight, Chanukah feels heavier than usual.

Earlier today, a public Chanukah gathering in Sydney was targeted in a horrific terrorist attack. Innocent people were murdered simply for being Jewish and for coming together to bring light into the world. Among them was Rabbi Eli Schlanger, a Chabad shliach whose life was devoted to spreading Judaism with warmth, pride, and joy. May his memory be a blessing.

Moments like this shake us. They raise real, human questions about fear, safety, and visibility. Chanukah speaks directly to that tension. It reminds us that when darkness tries to intimidate or silence us, our response has always been to bring more light.

As you light your menorah tonight, please keep the families who are grieving in your thoughts and pray for the wounded. If you weren’t planning on lighting, please light one. If you need a menorah or candles, reach out.

And if you can, come stand with us.

We will be lighting together at Fremont Street tonight at 4:00 PM.

May the light of Chanukah bring comfort, courage, and clarity.

As Mayor Carolyn Goodman finishes her final term as Mayor of the Greatest City of Earth we wanted to thank her and her husband Mr. Oscar Goodman for being such good friends and supporters of Chabad in Las Vegas. We were honored to participate in the festivities yesterday as the Mayors were honored and thanked with a beautiful ceremony and renaming of Civic Plaza.
