You might see us describe ourselves as a "Matthew 25 Church" β here's what that actually means. π
It comes from a passage where Jesus talks about caring for "the least of these" β feeding the hungry, welcoming the stranger, caring for the sick. Being a Matthew 25 Church means we've committed to living that out on purpose: fighting poverty, working against structural racism, and building a more just, compassionate community.
It's not about being a certain "kind" of church β it's about putting faith into action, every week, in tangible ways. The food pantry, prayer shawls, grants, meals, community space β it's all connected to this one idea.
