🌟✨ Just like a l***r who approached the Lord for healing, we have the right to come before Him and ask for His help.

🙌🏼✨ During our recent service, our Celebrant shared the process that those with leprosy had to endure in the past. They had to openly display their condition, and then a priest would decide if isolation was necessary. It was similar to having COVID-19, where no one would dare enter to provide them with food. 😷But Jesus was different. He fearlessly touched a l***r and cured him of his ailment. Both Jesus and the l***r embraced death as the will of the Father, yet Jesus reached out to him anyway. Instead of falling sick, the l***r was healed. 🤲💫However, during the time of Jesus, those with leprosy or any other illness were condemned to death if they even came near others. It was a terrifying era, and people were punished for making contact with them. 😨

🙌🌟 Jesus' healing brought the outcast back into society, and the newly baptized l***r started doing the will of the Father, too. He returned to society to tell everyone about Jesus, and people responded by leaving the comfort of their cities to encounter Jesus. The outcasts brought people to Jesus, which was the Father's will.

🙏🌟 Faith is our confidence in the Lord, and it's essential to trust Him even amid pain. We don't always see miracles, but we can trust that the Lord is with us. We are not here to be healed of our wounds and be in a comfortable city. Instead, we are called to hold onto the Lord and know He is with us, just like the l***r who embraced Him even in death.

🙏🌟 We can trust the Lord, believe Him, and have confidence in Him. Having faith in Him is crucial. During our recent service, we also experienced the blessing of Eucharistic ministers being publicly admitted alongside liturgical ministers, altar servers, ushers, musicians, singers, and others. It was a beautiful reminder of how we are all one body, one bread, and one cup. Our commandment: ❤️ our neighbor.

🙏🌟 In the tradition of Jesus washing our feet, we are called to humbly serve others. Let's embrace this call and serve others with love and compassion, just as Jesus did.
