Agapè Christian Church of Las Cruces, New Mexico A church for all people. Accepting people as they are and gently leading them to where God wants them to be. We meet at the Dream Center in Las Cruces.

Going north on Valley turn east on Wilson (the street after the Pic Quick, now Circle K). Agape, the church of the helping hand and rolled up sleeves. "Work is love made visible. When we work with love we do more than just accomplish a task; we fill the task with our very being and with devotion to each other and to the Lord." (Paraphrase of K. Gibran from "The Prophet")

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹.

𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘀𝗼 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗮𝘁.

Having Jesus with you does not mean the waves will stop before you reach the other side. It means the waves will never be stronger than the One who made them.

The disciples had Jesus in their boat and still hit a storm.

𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱.

Same boat. Same waves. Completely different outcome — because of who was with them.

That is still true for you today.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝘆 𝘀𝗶𝘇𝗲. 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗯𝘆 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀.

That small church in a small town with a modest budget and a congregation the world has never heard of — is not a consolation prize.

𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘂𝗽.

The pastor who preaches every Sunday to forty people. The volunteer who sets up chairs before anyone arrives. The elderly saint who has been praying for that community for thirty years without seeing the harvest.

𝗡𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗛𝗶𝗺.

He is not impressed by the biggest room. He is not drawn to the loudest platform. He does not measure impact the way the world does.

𝗛𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝘂𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺𝘀. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲.

𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗳𝘂𝗹.
