Welcome to the Facebook group of New Mexico State University's Pagan Student Union (or PSU of NMSU for short). We are a welcoming home and resource center for NMSU students and members of the Las Cruces community and surrounding areas. We represent the multiethnic, multicultural religious cooperative known as Paganism, an umbrella term used to identify global and diverse faith-based groups, spirit
ual communities, religions, traditions, beliefs, paths, and practices. We exclude no one and welcome all people of all kinds to come and learn about us. Our group has three goals: education, mindfulness, and coexistence. We don't do religious services at our meetings, and there is absolutely no pressure or requirement for anyone to attend. We seek to include all branches and aspects of Paganism, including (but certainly not limited to):
Modern Pagan religions like Wicca and Druidism; Historical Theistic faiths such as Hinduism, Kemetic (Egyptian) faith, Celtic polytheism, and Germanic and Norse Paganism; Native American Traditions and those of Indigenous Peoples; and other Earth, spirit, or nature-centered faiths, from Hinduism and Buddhism to Taoism and Nature Worship. No matter what your path may be (or even if you don't subscribe to one!), we come together to celebrate, share our beliefs, and learn from one another. We welcome all people of all kinds and do not tolerate discrimination for any reason. We meet at Skeen Hall Room W138 at 6:00 p.m. To keep current about PSU meetings and events, visit our website (psuofnmsu.webs.com), email us ([email protected]), or stay posted here on our page!
