Church family,
Over the last several weeks, we have been studying what it means to walk in the Spirit.
The goal of these messages was never simply to increase our knowledge—it was to transform our lives.
The Word of God is not meant to be admired from a distance; it is meant to be obeyed.
We have learned that the Spirit of God lives within every believer. We have seen that our minds must be renewed by the truth of God's Word. We have been challenged to walk daily in obedience and keep in step with the Spirit.
Now the question is: What are we going to do with what we have heard?
Don't allow these sermons to become another set of notes in a notebook or another message you once heard. Ask God to help you put them into practice every day.
When temptation comes, remember that you do not have to surrender to the flesh. The Spirit of God is in you.
When your thoughts begin to drift toward fear, anger, lust, bitterness, or discouragement, remember that God has called you to renew your mind with His truth.
When the Holy Spirit convicts you, don't resist Him. Respond quickly. Obedience in the small moments leads to victory in the larger battles.
Walking in the Spirit is not a one-time decision; it is a daily surrender. Every morning is a new opportunity to yield yourself to Christ, trust His power, and follow His leading.
My prayer for our church is that we would not merely be hearers of the Word but doers of the Word. May our homes, our relationships, our conversations, and our daily lives reflect the work of the Holy Spirit within us.
As you prepare for worship this week, ask yourself:
1. What area of my life am I still withholding from the Holy Spirit?
2. What practical step of obedience is God calling me to take today?
Church, God has not called us to live defeated lives. He has given us His Spirit, His Word, and His power. Walk in Him. Depend on Him. Follow Him.
And as we do, we will discover that the Christian life is not lived by our strength, but by His strength working within us.
"Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit." — Galatians 5:25
May the Lord strengthen you, guide you, and help you walk faithfully with Him this week.
Pastor Charles.
