Dear Brothers
It is with deep sorrow that I must report to you that One of our founders of Knights of Columbus Council 8898 has passed. Our community and Our Lady of the Rosary Church has lost an icon, mentor, and friend. Sir Knight Nathan Arceneaux passed away today due to his blood illness. He did so much for this community, our church, and our Knights of Columbus. Sir Knight Nathan joined the knights on April 1, 1974, and made his first, second, and third degree. Three years later to the day, he made the patriotic degree of the Knights of Columbus. He faithfully served in many, many capacities for 47 years. He was a mentor to many and will be extremely missed. Funeral arrangements have not been made at this time. As soon as we are informed, an additional email will follow. Please keep Thomas and the whole family in your prayers! He was a great servant of God!
