🎟️ A Great Bend tradition continues for one final year!

As the Dominican Sisters of Peace prepare to close the Great Bend Motherhouse at the end of 2026, we’re grateful for the many years of friendship, community and support that have surrounded our Sisters in Great Bend.

Before we leave our home here, we invite you to take part in one final Great Bend Raffle, continuing a tradition that began more than 60 years ago with the Great Bend Bazaar.

Raffle proceeds will support causes close to the hearts of our Great Bend Sisters, including:

- The Dominican Sisters of St. Catherine of Siena in Gusau, Nigeria, a congregation the Sisters helped found in the 1970s

- Hope for the Village Child, a Nigerian nonprofit directed by Kansas native Sr. Rita

- People experiencing poverty in the communities where our Great Bend Sisters serve

And, as always, you could win one of a variety of prizes, from cash to beautiful handmade items!

🎟️ Tickets are available through noon on November 13. Purchase your tickets or make a donation: https://secure.qgiv.com/for/heartlandcenterdonation/event/raffletickets/

📅 The drawing will be held Saturday, November 14. A Sister will contact you if your name is drawn.

Thank you for helping us carry this beloved Great Bend tradition and the Sisters’ mission forward. ❤️

✨CATHECHETICAL SUNDAY ✨
Join us for Catechetical Sunday on September 20th as we celebrate our shared mission to pass on the faith! This inspiring day highlights the dedication of our catechists and underscores the vital role of all parishioners, especially parents, in nurturing faith within
our homes and community. We'll reflect on how each of us, through our baptism, acts as a witness to the Gospel. The theme for this year is "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me…to bring good news to the poor" (Luke 4:18; cf. Isaiah 61:1). This powerful passage reveals Jesus' mission and identity, calling us to embrace our role in
spreading the Good News!
