Summer is such a wonderful season for most everyone! School's out, vacations are planned, picnics enjoyed, cookouts with family and friends, summer carnivals and festivals, swimming, golfing, baseball....i could go on and on! The warmth of the season is so welcome following the chilling cold of winter! Yes to Summertime!!!

But....what about the SON shine in our personal lives? Summertime tendencies lend to a throwing off of constraints and a lackidasical attitude comes on us. It can result in a departure from the things of God if we permit. Consistency at times goes out the window and we convince ourselves its ok to "vacation" from the Lord and His house.

Let that not be YOU! Press into your relationship with Christ Jesus. Make this a season of drawing ever close to Him. Pray, learn of Him, study His Word..take time to be holy.

If St. Johns is your church, BE THERE! If you need a place that you will grow in His grace, prayer and the WORD of GOD, come to St. Johns!

This Sunday we are beginning the of study of Gospel of John. Know God's Word, begin this season!
