This week is the first of three opportunities for Pinellas County families to get free groceries at drive-through mobile pantries.

The program, part of a partnership with JWB and the St. Petersburg Free Clinic, is designed to address food insecurity and mitigate the financial strain on residents facing high costs of living.

Each household receives approximately 50 pounds of food, including fresh produce, proteins, dairy, and shelf-stable essentials, according to SPFC and Feeding Tampa Bay.

The Family Center on Deafness (5175 45th St. N, St. Petersburg) hosts the first drive-through on Thursday, Oct. 23, from 5 p.m.-6:30 p.m. Distribution events are also set for Nov. 20 and Dec. 18.

Today was a great day! Without power, but still being the hands and feet of Jesus. We had people inside the church praying. While others went door to door and even set up outside the church and handed out coffee, muffins, and hot dogs and chips! We met so many neighbors and even blessed the linemen who were working on the power lines. We are not just FloridaStrong but Jesus Strong! Providing Hope and Joy!!!
