Our Lord,
Help us to take moments of silence throughout today in remembrance of the precious life of Jesus who selflessly and with unconditional love was crucified, suffered death and was buried. Please help us to remember that He asked for those who transgressed against Him to be forgiven. May our hearts be eager to forgive others as we keep our faith in You.

In the early church, generosity was flowing and unity was powerful. But then came the story of Ananias and Sapphira.

Their sin wasn’t about money.
The land was theirs. The decision was theirs. The amount was theirs to give or keep.

The problem wasn’t the offering.
It was the hypocrisy.
They lied to Holy Spirit not Peter!

They wanted the appearance of surrender without the reality of sacrifice. They wanted the reputation of generosity without the honesty of devotion.

God has never been impressed with partial hearts.
God dealt with deception swiftly to protect integrity.

The command from Jesus is clear:
Love the Lord with ALL your heart, ALL your mind, and ALL your soul.

Not the portion we want people to see.
Not the image we want others to believe.

ALL.

Authentic faith will always matter more than impressive appearances.

Don’t put your hands on it if your heart isn’t in it.
When the heart is truly surrendered, the hands will follow.

God is not a man, that He should lie.
Numbers 23:19

That’s covenant talk!
When God makes a promise, it doesn’t need fine print — it’s written in blood, not ink.
He didn’t send a lawyer to negotiate;
He sent His Son to fulfill.

The cross is Heaven’s signature that God’s Word is still good, still true, and still working on your behalf.

If He said it, He will do it.
If He promised it, He will perform it.
Because our God doesn’t change His mind — He changes lives.

🔥 Hold on to the promise.
🔥 Stand on His Word.
🔥 Trust the Covenant-Keeper.
