The Corinthian Church were not "carnal Christians." They were immature in some areas, but the book of 1 Corinthians shows that they experienced the internal change that comes about by the new birth. The doctrine based on 1 Corinthians 3 that has become so popular that one can be a "carnal Christi...

Have you ever wondered why God chose that specific Name for His Messiah? And how do you answer those who say you MUST call Him "Yeshua" and not "Jesus?" The answer is in the Greek New Testament and name etymology.
Why did God choose this specific Name for the Savior?

My first book, ABIDING IN CHRIST: THE SCRIPTURE-RICH GUIDE TO FRUIT BEARING

This book is not about works-based salvation. It is about salvation-based works. God, in a very real way, comes to live inside your inner man and makes you a brand-new creature once you put your faith in Christ. Bearing the fruit of a changed life with service to God is a natural outgrowth of an ...

Want a taste (pun intended) of Tuesday night Bible & BBQ?

Check out this short study, "Son of God, Son of Man," to see why Christ had to be both Son of God and Son of Man to be our Great High Priest and to open the scroll (which is a land deed) and inaugurate the millennial Kingdom.

Also, when God does "hate," it is not the kind of hate you and I generally think of as hatred.

The importance of Job in biblical history goes further than the book of Job. Proof Job was an EDOMITE. Proof God is NOT hate Esau the man from the womb and did not hate even the nation of EDOM until they turned against Israel. The importance of Eliphaz in biblical history. Proof that you can have bad theology (to a point anyway) and still be a godly person. How God may have used Moses' running from Egypt to give us the book of Job!

...and what all this has to do with the majesty of God!! Oh, yeah, there's stuff about weather and seasons too.

Job was from Uz in Southern Edom.Edom did not begin as an ungodly nation. In fact, God gave this land to Esau. And where Edom was plays into how the book of Jo...
