11/6/24 God’s Word For You Today
Revelation 22:11 “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.”
Men are building up their destiny by the actions and habits of their lives. This verse expresses that which the Spirit of God can bring about in a person’s life, irrespective that they have once been “unjust and morally filthy. Through Christ they can be made righteous and holy, done through the Cross.

John 15:8 “Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.”
We are children of God, saved by his grace and our faith in Christ, called to be disciples of Jesus in this world, bearing much fruit for his glory. We bear fruit when we live according to God in the spirit. Brothers and sisters, let’s determine to bear much fruit for the glory of God.

Praising God should be an everyday and throughout-the-day occurrence in this great country we call home. We are blessed with the freedom to live as we wish, vote as we choose, worship where we want to, and express our opinion without fear of retribution. These are privileges we should not take for granted. May God be our guide this November as we plan for the future and prayerfully exercise our right to vote.

Good morning! Spend some time in prayer with me at 12:00 Noon today. We will be praying for Israel, for our nation, and for the election.
Then at 6:00 PM this evening join me as we begin a study of 2 Peter. Have a blessed day. Let not your heart be troubled and pray we it out ceasing.

A Refreshing in the Word
Let’s be praying tonight and tomorrow for our nation and for this election. Use the prayer points here to guide your prayers.
—Lamentations 5:21 “Turn thou us unto thee, O Lord, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.”
—For protection of the candidates on both sides, and their families.
—For an orderly, ethical, and peaceful election,
—That Christians will vote according to Biblical values.
—That God will give favor to the right person to lead this country and that person will win the election.
—For God’s will to be done in the election and in this nation.
—That this country will become unified as one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Pray tonight and tomorrow.

Lamentations 5:21. “Turn thou us unto thee, O Lord, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.”
This verse is a prayer for forgiveness and restoration. It’s a prayer we can pray for ourselves, for our families, and for our nation. Stop and read this verse slowly, phrase-by-phrase, with paper and pen, so that you can record your thoughts. As you read each phrase, consider specific needs to include that you want to pray for. Save your notes to refer to to pray during your prayer time.
