Thank you to everyone who came out tonight to Lapeer Culvers to support our fundraiser for the widows cottage. Together with tips $918.77 was raised! It was so much FUN and the staff was a joy to work with.

What a special morning at Lapeer Church of the Nazarene! ❤️

Today, our kids were the focus of the service as we celebrated their summer program, “Jesus Is My Superhero!” 🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️✝️

It was wonderful to see the kids in their superhero capes, participating in the service and sharing some of what they have learned throughout the summer. More important than the costumes, games, and fun is the message they have been learning: Jesus is the greatest hero of all.

We are incredibly thankful for everyone who invested their time, energy, and love into our children this summer. Teaching the next generation about Jesus is one of the most important things we can do as a church family.

“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” — Matthew 19:14 (NIV)

What a blessing to have a church where our children are loved, encouraged, and taught to follow Christ. 💙

Join us at Culvers Lapeer on Tuesday and help us raise funds to build a Widow’s Cottage in Appalachia—a safe, simple home for a woman who otherwise may not have a place to live.

The restaurant is generously giving a percentage of tonight’s proceeds toward our project, and we are incredibly grateful! ❤️

But we want to be transparent: that percentage is only a small part of what it will take to build this cottage.

That’s where YOU can make an even bigger difference.

WORK & WITNESS! Meet Miss Janie from the Appalachian Mountains! She is the happy, kind lady we helped to build a home for last year. She's all moved in and so happy with her cottage.
Our 2026 Team is busy raising funds for yet another cottage for a widow. Would you consider donating toward this project that is close to the Lords Heart? Our fundraising goal is $22,000 by October 1 and this will get the cottage roughed in and roofed for winter.
