We welcome you to the family of Restoration Life Church. Join us for worship in person, or on Facebook, Sundays at 10:30 a.m.

We have a worship band that plays a blend of traditional and contemporary music, a special sermon time for children, prayer, and a message from scripture by Pastor John Harris. The children are dismissed before the sermon to attend children's church for biblical teaching and fun activities. Everyone is welcome to worship with us. SERMON TEASER:
God is working, but people are timid! This isn't just an issue that we face today, it was an issue in the early church as well! Many were being healed, miraculous signs and wonders were taking place, and many were coming and bringing their friends to be cared for, but not openly. New believers were being added daily, but no one new was willing to openly commit to joining the believers by being seen together with them in public. Fear is a powerful motivator to do the wrong things! Then the apostles are arrested....again. They are freed by an angel, and given instructions. Pause and think - what instructions do you anticipate they would be given? Hide? Be more careful? Go to ground for a little bit and let the pressure recede before trying again? Go to the next town? The angel said none of those things. In fact he told them to do the one thing that was sure to continue causing them trouble - "Go and tell the people the full message of this new life!" Come and see this Sunday!

SERMON TEASER:
Sin poisons everything! We know this already - but it can shock us sometimes at just how fast that poison creeps in to our lives and community! In our passage this week, we will see that things seem to be going amazingly well for the early church community - they are sharing all they have, they are caring for each other, providing through each other.....it seems to be the perfect community to be a part of. God has made this wonderful thing that the surrounding city is in awe of. Then sin creeps in to try and destroy it. The judgment is severe, but the lesson is for the church, not just the surrounding townspeople. The result is that signs and wonders begin to take place throughout the region! Come this Sunay and let's look together!

SERMON TEASER:
Did you know that the missing ingredient of gospelizing our neighbors and coworkers is often one particular word - BOLDNESS! ? It was the same for the early disciples as well! In fact, they prayed for boldness to speak "[God's] Word with all confidence/boldness while [God] extends [His]hand to heal, and signs and wonders take place through the name of [His] holy servant Jesus". Now, if the disciples needed to ask for boldness in their day, perhaps we do as well? More to come on this Sunday!

SERMON TEASER:
As the apostles Peter and John spoke about Jesus, they faced a mix bag of reactions. The crowds - loved it! The religious leaders - hated it! The healed man, believed it! But the powerful people who disliked their message, the religious leaders who were used to having all the power and attention for themselves, they were jealous and threatening. They had Peter and John arrested to keep them quiet. When others mistreat you because of your faith in Jesus, that is when you have to make a choice in your own heart about why you got involved in the first place. For Peter and John that "why" was simple - because there is NO other Name by which anyone can be saved! Come and see this Sunday!

Sermon Teaser: When crowds of people saw Peter and John heal the man who was born lame, they were immediately excited, intrigued, and very misguided! They interpreted everything wrong - they thought that Peter and John had done all the healing themselves, that they were just so strong, or so good, or so.....something....that they could heal this man. When people see you live for Jesus, they often attribute all the results to you, not the Spirit's work in you! And THAT is your opportunity to share that Christ has made the difference, not you! How do we share Jesus in a way that tells others they are able to share in Christ's blessings too? Come and see this Sunday!
