For the safety of our children, families, volunteers, and staff, all Vacation Bible School sessions for today (morning and evening) have been CANCELLED due to the threat of severe weather and storms.

The safety of our community is our priority. We encourage everyone to stay weather aware and take all necessary precautions during today’s storms.

🙏 We are planning to resume our regular Vacation Bible School schedule on Thursday at 9:15 AM, weather permitting.

📣 FOOD BANK REMINDER – TOMORROW

Tomorrow Zion will be hosting our INDOOR Food Bank.
⚠️ This is NOT a pop-up — this is our once-a-month SUPPLEMENTAL Food Bank.

✨ DOUBLE PORTION BLESSING THIS MONTH! ✨
Thanks to our partnership with Illinois Partners In Hope, food bank patrons who register and go through the indoor food bank will also receive tickets to pick up extra items from the kitchen as they exit.

👉 IMPORTANT:
Only those who come inside, register, and go through the indoor food bank will receive the extra kitchen items.

📋 FOOD BANK RULES (PLEASE READ):

✔️ Must show PHOTO ID
✔️ ONE photo ID per household
✔️ ONE member per household
✔️ This distribution is ONLY for current food bank patrons
✔️ NO city restriction applies
✔️ Please BRING YOUR OWN BAGS — you will need them to carry items to your car

🐾 PET FOOD AVAILABLE 🐾

The South Suburban Humane Society will be with us tomorrow providing dog and cat food 🐶🐱
📌 You must sign up directly with them
📍 They will be located in front of the church when you arrive

🚗 PARKING & LINE-UP INSTRUCTIONS:

🚫 DO NOT park in Sunrise’s parking lot
✅ Park on the street or in our lot next to the building only
🙏 Please help us be good neighbors — if a volunteer asks you to move your car, please do so promptly

➡️ When you arrive, line up on the church porch
🚪 Doors open at 10:00 AM
🪪 Please have your photo ID ready

Doors lock at 1pm
