Once again I would really appreciate prayers as I preach in the main services at South Church tomorrow morning on the theme, "When the Kingdom of God Comes" from the Gospel of Matthew. It really is such a central, crucial reality. In fact I believe the reality of the return of the reign of God in and through Christ is the central message of the Bible -- and it is great news for those who will repent and believe and a solemn warning for those who haven't yet bowed the knee to Christ. But understanding the kingdom of God is also the key to understanding of the Christian's life and the Church's mission. So much to share; I need God's wisdom and leading as I preach.... Register for VBS June 22-26 at southlife.org/vbs

We are looking for adults and teens to serve at VBS 2026 – Illumination Station! There are many ways you can help, from working with children (infants – 5th graders), preparing and serving snacks, helping with crafts or games, greeting and registering visitors, and other behind the scenes help. Just go online to let us know you’d like to help, and we will contact you.

The last day for adults and teens to sign up to serve at VBS 2026 is Sunday, June 14.

You can register your Kindergarten-5th graders online until the afternoon of Sunday, June 21.

Come on a journey into the future to a galaxy far, far away. Kingdom Rock Kids Choir presents Star Quest, a musical about memorizing God's Word. By the end of the presentation the kids will have recited a plethora of verses in word and song. There will be two presentations, May 16 and May 17 @ 6pm. No tickets necessary.
