Maybe Paul's "humble brags" in Philippians 3 can make us roll our eyes, but it's what he follows these proclamations with that are important. The world would have us value ourselves and our good qualities above all else but learn from Paul's example: count your earthly blessings as "rubbish" compared to the fact that we have God's love, forgiveness, and mercy through Jesus Christ.

Join us this evening for Worship! On Wednesdays at 6:00 pm, we worship in our chapel. While it is still the same service as the Sunday prior, it's a much smaller group and more laidback setting. We'd love to have you!

The Psalmist David writes in Psalm 62, "For God alone my soul waits in silence." Fighting to be at the top of this broken world is a hopeless endeavor that will bring you no prize at the end. It is futile. Have patience and wait for the Lord, putting aside the world's noise and chatter.

We had a great Community Dinner last night, rocking out with the music of CLASSIC.! We even had some guest musicians come up. The food, as always, was delicious. We couldn’t hold these monthly meals without the help of our many volunteers and talented chefs; we appreciate all that you do!!
We served 120 guests and had 20 to-go meals. The menu was Zuppa Toscana soup, green salad with Nancy’s Famous Dressing, garlic bread, meat lasagna, veggie lasagna, garlic roasted broccoli and cauliflower, a donation of pasta salad, coleslaw from Rob’s Meats from one of our guests, and assorted delicious desserts!!
Thanks again to all who helped make the September Community Meal a success! And thanks be to God for giving us the opportunity to serve our community and neighbors.
Join us for our next meal, October 26, 5:30 pm. We will hold a free Trunk or Treat in the parking lot from 5-6 with Tiny Town.

Join us for Trinity's Free Community Dinner in the gym tonight at 5:30PM! Chef Tom will be serving Lasagna and Zuppa Tuscano soup! 😋 We will also have live music from the band CLASSIC.! Hope to see you there!

To sum up Ecclesiastes 7:10, try to get out of the thought loop of "Those were the days..." So far the text. Things today can feel out of control and we may yearn for the past; the news spews out daily chaos at us, the world is more complicated than it was when we were kids. But is this sentiment new? According to King Solomon, this has always been the case. Focus instead upon how much better it is when God is first in our lives.

Yesterday we hosted a church picnic for our church family and friends! Our outdoor worship service celebrating the Seventeenth Sunday after Pentecost was moved to the gym because of the rain, but it was still and wonderful time with beautiful music, a great message from Pastor, and fellowship together.
