A message from Doug….

Greetings to all on this second day of big storms. We pray that you and your loved ones are coping with these most unusual weather conditions. All through Lansing and the area surrounding us are cleaning up.....and preparing for today's storms.

St. John's Lutheran Church does not have any power nor phone service. I did stop by this morning to check that everything is ok at the church, no damage, but like I said, no power or phones.

Just before the blackout yesterday, our office printer was jammed and unable to work. The guy was called but they too are swamped and who knows when our power goes back on to fix it. Just preparing you that if we have to, we may not have bulletins on Sunday......we'll have to see how the rest of the week goes.

So, stay safe and be glad that you are ok......everything else can be repaired or replaced.....God is watching over you.
