We all have our share of trials, the kind that kicks you when you’re already down. Then, just when you think you’ve had enough, here comes some more.
Take heart.
Jesus knows exactly what you’re going through. He wasn’t exempt from trials either. He was rejected, betrayed, misunderstood, and crucified. And Jesus won.
Your problems, no matter how many or how heavy, are no match for Him.

Give them to Him. Trust Him with all of it. When He wins, we win.

“...In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33, NIV).

Join Gail McKenzie at this year's Pennsylvania Conference camp meeting, June 12-20, 2026, at Blue Mountain Academy, Hamburg, Pa., as she reminds us that we are "Designed for More."

From the very beginning mankind was designed for more. With the mandate, “be fruitful and multiply” came an innate drive to seek growth and purpose. Far beyond earthly pursuits, we were created for more in our relationship with God. There was never meant to be a moment where we say, “God, I’m good, I know you well enough – let’s take a break!” Growth was intrinsic in creation itself, while inaction results in decline and decay. The word more stirs a longing in us, a response to an invitation from God to step beyond where we are into His greater plans. Matthew 7:7 paraphrased reads, “The more you seek Me, the more you will find Me!” There are moments in our faith journey when we realize there is so much more! More joy, more of God’s presence and the Holy Spirit whispers, “You’re not done yet, there’s more I want to show you!” The question is: Are you willing to step out in faith and embrace His “more”? Join us for a week to remember that guarantees more!

Gail McKenzie serves as the Women’s Ministries Director and Prayer Coordinator for the Kentucky-Tennessee Conference, a role she has held for 25 years. Gail is a wife, mother of three—including a special needs son—and proud grandmother of five.
