Do you have a favorite spot at home or out in nature? How about a beloved body of water?

Last year at St. John’s, Pastor Linda brought us a wonderful new tradition called Water Sunday. 🌊

Over the summer, we all collect some water from a special place (stream, ocean, the garden hose, etc…) and bring it to church in September. It all gets combined, blessed, and purified for use in baptisms throughout the year. This year’s Water Sunday service is September 13 at 10:15 am.

Wherever you’ll be this summer, we hope you’ll take part! Bottles are available in the sanctuary (thank you Elders), or you can use your own. You can also label yours with your name and the location/source of the water.

With a magnificent anniversary celebration in the books, it's time for a breather! Starting this Sunday, June 7, worship moves to one 9:30 am service, continuing through September 6.

Don't forget to collect some water for our beautiful new tradition of Water Sunday, which is on September 13 this year. 🌊
