Our yearly sabbatical has ended, and our regular weekly church calendar of events resumes this Sunday, 9/13. Here are key ministries that resume this week:

Invest 90 Minutes to Shape a Child’s Eternity

Did you know that people who follow Jesus make that decision before the age of 14? Our Awana Club isn’t just once weekly childcare, it’s a high-impact discipleship strategy.

We are looking for leaders and helpers who want to change lives by listening to Scripture verses, playing games, and building relationship.

Time Commitment: Only 2 hours a week on Sunday evenings.

Perks: Training provided, zero experience required, and instant hero status with our kids!

Awana Club is for children 3 years of age through 12th grade.

Join us on Sunday evenings for games, a Bible lesson, Bible verse memorization, and fun theme nights!

Time: Sunday evenings at 6:00 p.m.—7:30 p. m.
during the school year.

Please remember the Olive Garden dinner tonight (Tuesday, 8/25) at 5:00 PM at the Olive Garden in Bowie at Bowie Town Center. Please also note that, although the website and the church calendar correctly state the event starts at 5:00 PM, yesterday’s church bulletin erroneously said the event starts at 7:00 PM.

Children’s ministry volunteers needed! If you’re interested in serving in this way, we invite you to attend our Children’s Ministry Team Luncheon on Sunday, September 13th after the worship service where we will discuss:
• Training for new and returning volunteers
• Information for potential volunteers

Summer Sunday Morning Fellowship: During the month of August, we take a break from Sunday School. Join us for a Potluck-style fellowship every Sunday in August from 9:30am - 10:30am. Feel free to bring a breakfast item to share. Beverages will be provided. Sunday School resumes after Labor Day on September 13th.

Wednesday Fellowship meals will also be on hiatus. Meals will resume on September 16th. Contact Sarah Caudill if you would like to cook/assist with Wednesday Fellowship Meals when they resume.

We know this is short notice, but we are reaching out with an exciting opportunity to support the incredible moms in our pregnancy ministry- Embrace Grace.

We are celebrating 4 Brave Mamas this year!
Over the past few years, our church family has done an amazing job surrounding our Brave Mamas with love, generosity, and encouragement. Your support has made a lasting impact, and we are SO grateful.

On Sunday, June 28, at 5:00 p.m., we will be hosting our Embrace Grace Baby Shower to celebrate the women in our program, this also serves as their graduation to the program!

We would love for the entire church family to join us—men, women, and children alike!

Many of our moms already have essentials such as diapers and wipes, so we have created an Amazon wish list with specific items they need. Gift cards are also a wonderful way to help provide for their needs.

We are also looking for volunteers to help provide food and refreshments for the shower. If you would like to contribute a dish, snacks, drinks, or desserts, please let me know.
