It’s time to put on your big boy pants and take some accountability.
Banks didn’t sneak overdraft fees into your account at 2 a.m.
They didn’t change the rules mid-transaction.
They didn’t steal anything.
You signed the agreement.
You opened the account.
You spent more money than you had.
Overdraft fees exist because balances go negative.
That’s not a moral failing by the bank.
That’s a math problem by the customer.
Calling it predatory doesn’t change the contract.
Calling it unfair doesn’t void the terms.
Calling it theft doesn’t make it true.
If you don’t like overdraft fees, then maybe you're not mature enough to have a checking account.
May want to go back to your piggy bank.
