St. James Episcopal Church

The Diocese of Pennsylvania convened its annual convention on Saturday, October 10 at the Sheraton Valley Forge in King of Prussia. Delegates Len Mizia and Alex Weisman joined Deacon Jim and Father Sean to represent St. James.

We are blessed to live in a Diocese with many dedicated and talented people, clergy and laity alike. With God's help, the ministry of the church continues!

Rejoice in the Lord Always: Sunday of Proper 23, Year A (October 11, 2026)

10/07/2026

Congratulations to the St. James team as lead by Vestry member Kathy C**n. We raised $3,605 for the Bucks County chapter of NAMI (National Alliance for Mental Health). NAMI is a great resource for those with mental health struggles and for their caregivers.

Before the event, we got to visit information booths of dozens of area non-profit advocacy organizations and mental health care providers. There were also a few speakers, some sharing inspiring personal stories about their life challenges.

Although we had light rain, the temperature was in the comfortable 60s, and nobody had to worry about sunburn despite the trail having little shade.

Thanks to everyone who donated to the worthy cause and walked the walk at Warminster Community Park!

Hi friends -
Well, the spammers are at it again. Someone got a hold of my contacts and is texting everyone, claiming to be me working from "a different number." The message says that I need gift cards for a discreet pastoral matter, and the matter is time sensitive... you can guess where this is heading. Rest assured that I, Actual_Father_Sean, will NOT ask for gift cards, nor will I ever text you asking for money. Such financial requests are a tell that it's a "Faux Sean" scam artist/AI program.
As Jesus says, we must be gentle as doves and wise as serpents, and keep awake!
Peace,
"Real" Sean+ (photo taken this afternoon)
