Parkland Church is a neighborhood church in the Parkland section of Langhorne in Middletown Twp, Bucks County, PA. Our Sunday contemporary worship service at 9:30 am is casual and joyful! We serve our community and those in need regularly and invite the whole community to take part. Children's messages, special events, and Bible studies are here as well.

It's almost time to make snack bags for at-risk kids to take to school with them! Each year, Love in Deed makes thousands of snack bags for kids in Centennial Title 1 elementary schools and kids living in the Family Service homeless shelter. Find yourself with harvest to share? Have a big vehicle you can tranport donations with? Love to bake for others? Want to meet your community and serve them staffing the free farm stand? Blessed with money to give toward farm purchases? Want to tend the earth at the community garden to feed others? So many ways to help and we all fit together - puzzle pieces - to fight food insecurity around us. Many people are struggling to put nutritious food on the table. Be part of the solution. All are invited to the Sunday 9:30 am worship service.....but worship is not something that only happens for an hour on Sunday mornings! How can we use our everday activities and the choices we make to honor God and our neighbors? Let's unpack that together (1 Corinthians 10:31). Love in Deed delivered 60 fully stocked backpacks for at-risk teens this morning! Family Service will identify need through case managers and help teens in need get equipped for the upcoming school year. We also delivered extra stocked pencil pouches and other supplies plus 8 graphing calculators! Grateful to our generous sponsor for the project, to Family Service Association of Bucks County for serving our community so lovingly and for all the volunteers who made this happen!

We will celebrate "open communion" on Sunday. What does that mean? It means we welcome believers to take part, regardless of background, church affiliation etc. We view the table as Christ's gift, open to all who seek God. Communion in Greek is koinonia, Latin derivation communio meaning fellowship, sharing. It's community, and we welcome you. Sundays at 9:30 am at the little white church. This Sunday we'll take a look at Isaiah 58:6-12 and Matthew 25:31-46 - hope to see you there!
