With great sadness but with the utmost belief in God and his plans, I have to announce the ending of an Era. The Journey has come to an end it has reached it's destination. It has been a beautiful run and many salvations. This 2024 camp was the last for The Journey Teen Camp. It is officially dissolved. In conjunction with Bro Paul Clark all is not lost for a Texas Teen Camp. Bro Clark as been asked and tasked with gauging support for a NEW teen camp that will service Texas. He is at the National meeting diligently seeking information and or support as I write. Stay Tuned God is always at work .

ALL ADULTS - The State of Texas requires all adults in attendance for camp to have a criminal and s*x offender background check and complete Child Protection Training. The Church/Group you are attending with is responsible for performing the background checks. You can satisfy the Child Protection Training by taking the course provided below. You will be emailed a certificate that will be required in order to register for camp.

Please read over course materials and watch all training videos before taking exam.

Your church will need to upload all certificates before June 12th.

Concession Stand – We will be able to accept credit cards at the concession stand now. Also, money bands can be purchased online and ahead of time and will be given to a child when they arrive at camp.

Purchase here: https://www.pinespringsbaptistcamp.com/purchase-money-bands

Visitors and Camp Security – Complying with the state mandates and allowing visitors has been very difficult. Asking each camp to police themselves has simply not worked. The easiest way to comply would be to shut the gate and say no visitors. However, I hate to do that to the pastor that just wants to come visit his group and bring them pizza. So to try to allow for legitimate reasons someone may visit yet still comply with state rules we will try the following policy this summer.

Each camper will be given a wrist band to be worn through the week to identify them as a registered camper.
Visitor Policy
All visitors must check in at camp office (the gate will be closed, a phone number will be posted for a visitor to phone in and gain access to come to the office)
A visitor must be associated with a church in someway
A background check must be provided or one can be performed at church office for a fee
An adult visitor must be escorted at all times by a registered adult camper. Both will wear identifying badges.
