God sometimes plants us in unlikely places, where we can grow stronger in our faith and blossom through unlikely circumstances. If you feel buried right now, don't give up, but instead look up, keep growing, and know you will bloom!

Don’t let impulse and your flesh trap you. Choose today to let your words fill your stomach and heart with love, not destroy it. Our words matter, and in this proverb, we are given a very real look at what being foolish with our words can mean for our lives.

“From the fruit of a person’s mouth his stomach is satisfied; he is filled with the product of his lips. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” – Proverbs 18:20-21

Through It All, All Is Well.

I know life isn't always easy, and I know many of us have been through so much.... loss, challenges, uncertainty. But as I reflect on it all, I find myself asking: Can I still say, "All is well"?

For me, the answer is yes. Not because everything is perfect, but because God has been faithful through every high and low in my life. Even in the hardest moments I had to face, His peace has carried me.

What about you? As you look back on your journey, can you see His hand guiding you, comforting you, strengthening you? No matter what you're facing today, I encourage you to pause and declare: "All is well." Not because of what we see, but because of who He is.

"Through It All, All Is Well"

Good morning, church family!

We’re not in a building today, but the church is still alive in us. Wherever we go, God goes with us. I’m so thankful this morning for His goodness and the reminder that worship isn’t about a place—it’s about our hearts being turned toward Him.

I’m also thankful that we’re not afraid to be different. Taking Sundays off from the building gives us space to slow down, reflect on ourselves, and think about others. It’s a chance to rest and let God work in us in real, honest ways.

So today, take that time. Be the church right where you are. -PB†

Whew! What a day! Today was easily one of the best we’ve had in 13 years at Next Ministries. 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝟑𝟎 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬 came through our doors—it was almost impossible to meet everyone! But the energy, and level of anticipation was incredible and His presence was undeniable. If you were there, thank you for being obedient. Mark your calendars—our next service is May 4th around 11ish. Maybe 11:20, or 11:13. Who's knows? Only God! Can’t wait to see what’s next at 𝑵𝑬𝑿𝑻. -PB†

Jesus is alive! We worship a risen savior! He died on the cross for our sins, but He didn't stay in that tomb. The grave could not hold him down. Jesus was victorious over sin and death. We celebrate Easter because Jesus rose from the grave and walked out after 3 days.

Jesus' resurrection is the most important event in Christian faith. Yes, Him dying on the cross is very important because Christ died to carry the burden of our sins to the grave. But when He rose from the dead, He fulfilled the promise and hope of an eternal life with God almighty for those who believe. He gave Himself as a living sacrifice so we would not be separated from God anymore. His death and resurrection marked the beginning of a new covenant between God and humanity, giving us a path to forgiveness for our sins and eternal life.

Let us not forget His sacrifice and love for us, we should crucify our flesh daily. That means we should strive every day to get sin out of our lives and keep it out! Live every day like you are ready for Jesus to return.

𝑳𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒂 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍 𝒂𝒖𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒄 𝒄𝒉𝒖𝒓𝒄𝒉 𝒊𝒏𝒗𝒊𝒕𝒆? 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞!

Hey, guys! My name is Pastor Brian, and I'm a sinner. I'm also the Pastor of Next Ministries, inviting you to come sit in with us this Sunday.

I have done everything I know to do to the building itself, making it somewhat of a nice place for you to visit. I’ve pressure-washed the church, pressure-washed all the concrete, cut the grass, pulled weeds, trimmed the hedges, sprayed Roundup, leveled out the flower bed, mopped the floors, cleaned the bathrooms, lined up all the chairs, straightened up the stage, tested the sound, checked all the instruments, prayed, and fasted.

We ain’t no mega church! We don’t even have a parking lot or a church sign. What we do have is a 𝑆𝑝𝑖𝑟𝑖𝑡-𝑓𝑖𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑑 𝑐ℎ𝑢𝑟𝑐ℎ 𝑓𝑢𝑙𝑙 𝑜𝑓 𝑏𝑒𝑙𝑖𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑠 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝑡𝑜 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑦 𝑠𝑖𝑛𝑔𝑙𝑒 𝑑𝑎𝑦 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑖𝑟 𝑙𝑖𝑣𝑒𝑠.. None of us are perfect. We are all flawed and need help daily. We go home with the same struggles as anyone else.

We’ve been a ministry for 𝟏𝟑 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 and still have no interest in wining and dining people to make them think 𝑁𝑒𝑥𝑡 𝑀𝑖𝑛𝑖𝑠𝑡𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑠 is the place for them. But if you're looking for a genuine and authentic place to hear a non-watered-down version of the gospel on Sunday, I’d be honored to share it with you.

No lights, no fog, no musicians, no bulletins, no announcements, and no church drama (for those who can relate to that). And we tend not to make a big deal when new people show up. To us, you're just another person like us coming to church. Why should we make it weird? And guess what? We never start on time. We start at 11ish—maybe 11:09, 11:13, 11:15, or 11:22. That’s just how we roll because everyone needs a little "𝐢𝐬𝐡" in their life.

You will either love this place or hate this place, but one thing is for sure: 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 - that's just the way it has to be.

I’m praying and hoping this message will be what you’ve been looking for in a church invite because that’s what this is—me inviting you and your family to Next Ministries in downtown Lanett this Sunday around 11ish. Parking is across the street. Children’s Church provided.

Happy Easter!

When you stop sharing every detail of your life, you take control, and your enemies are left with nothing to feed on—no gossip to spread, no judgment to cast, and zero ammunition to criticize your choices.

Good morning!

Not everyone who calls you a friend is sent by God. Some are merely disguising themselves to serve the plans of your enemies. Others may only stick around to fuel the flames for those who wish you harm.

Know this: the most dangerous enemy is often the one pretending to be close to you. Pray for discernment, guys, and be wise with your trust. Remember, privacy is power. What people don’t know, they can’t destroy. And what remains hidden in God’s care cannot be touched by this world. -PB†

Have you ever stopped to think about what you’re truly giving your time and energy to?

Good morning! Sometimes, 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 quietly sneak in and take up space in our lives—almost like altars we never meant to build. Maybe for you, it’s scrolling your phone, or spending time on things that, deep down, you know won’t matter in the long run. Believe me, I get it—it’s easy to let this happen. But as this new year begins, I want to encourage you to pause and ask yourself:
Where is your time going? What are you offering your life to? Is it something that lifts you up, or something that holds you back?

I think it’s time for a 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝘁 and a 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁—time to focus on what brings you peace, joy, and goodness. You know; the things that matter the most. The things that bring you closer to God, to your family, and to the people you care about. Let’s be intentional about setting our priorities straight and seeking the kind of joy that only comes when we’re on the right path.

So let me ask you: where is your focus today? Are you pouring into what builds you up and strengthens those around you? Or are you letting distractions pull you away from what really matters? Remember, even the smallest changes can make the biggest difference. You’ve got this—but change starts with you. Don’t forget that! - 𝗣𝗕†

Good morning!
The closer we get to God, the more we're going to be filled with faith. The further away we get from God, the more we're going to be filled with fear. I cannot over-emphasize the importance of faith for the rest of our life. The Bible says... are you ready for this? “Whatever is not of faith is sin” (Romans 14:23) I've been wrestling with this one for the past couple of weeks.
How many times did we sin last week? A lot. So did I. Anything that I didn’t do in faith—that I did in doubt—was a sin.
The Bible also says, “Without faith it is impossible to please God” How many times did you please God last week? If you want something to change in your life, we have to stop complaining and start believing. God is not moved by complaints. God is moved by faith: “According to your faith let it be done to you” (Matt 9:29) Your faith has a big impact on what God does in your life. What matters is not the size of your faith but the size of your God. A little faith in a big God gets big results! I may not have big faith when it comes to big decisions in my life, but thank God I know the parable in Matt 17:20 about us accomplishing great things with faith as small as a mustard seed. Just like a mustard seed is hard to hold on to and easily misplaced, so is faith. Hold tightly to what you have and if you have to... wrestle, fight, worship and repent until you see that your faith is winning again. -PB†
