The fence at the Lane cemetery has now been painted. Also wanted to add that we had some vandalism at Baker a while back and veteran flag holders were stolen. It was reported but we have had no follow up.

With memorial day here just wanted to remind everyone about our guidelines pertaining to the two cemeteries. Flowers remaining after Memorial Day must be within the 4 inch base or in vases that are placed on the stone. All other flowers or ornaments will be removed 15 days after Memorial Day that are not within these guidelines. We do permit flag stakes and hooks but they need to be placed next to the stone. We do not allow placing of stones, rock, borders or planting of flowers shrubs or trees in the cemetery.

The mowing crew will be starting the first week of April. All flowers that are not in vases or on stones will be removed. Be aware that all other items such as toys and little statues will need to be on the stones or ledge around stones. Please limit these items. It is difficult to w**d eat around these items. They have burned the brush pile at Baker but will be doing clean up around that area. Please be aware that it does not look good right now but will be improving. We did have some vandalism at Baker where military flag stakes were stolen. It was reported to the police. Anyone with any information would be appreciated.
Painting of the new fence at the Lane cemetery will be starting soon.
