From 1985 to today… God has been faithful.

In 1985, God entrusted a vision to Bishop Thomas Plowden Jr. that would become Bible Way Temple of Lane—a ministry built on prayer, the Word of God, and unwavering faith.

Now, over four decades later, he pauses to give God all the glory for another incredible milestone: seeing his daughter, Pastor R. Naomi Plowden-McDowell, faithfully shepherd the flock for more than 15 years.

This isn’t just a father’s tribute—it’s the testimony of a founder watching God’s promises unfold from one generation to the next.

As you watch this special moment, celebrate what God has done, honor the legacy that has been built since 1985, and rejoice in the faithfulness that has carried this ministry every step of the way.

But don’t stop looking back…

Last Sunday, Pastor R. Naomi Plowden-McDowell reminded us through the message “The Season Is Changing” from Ecclesiastes 3:1a:

“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven.”

As we carry this Word, don’t allow the waiting to make you weary. A changing season doesn’t mean God has forgotten you—it means He is preparing you. Every prayer, every act of obedience, every sacrifice, and every seed sown in faith is producing a harvest in God’s perfect timing.

Your faithfulness today is connected to your harvest tomorrow. Don’t stop now. Keep trusting, keep serving, and keep believing. God is working behind the scenes, even when you can’t yet see the fruit.

🍂 The Season Is Changing 🍂

This past Sunday, Pastor R. Naomi Plowden-McDowell shared a timely and powerful message entitled “The Season Is Changing,” from Ecclesiastes 3:1a:

“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven.”

As we continue to reflect on this Word, remember that every season has a purpose. Some seasons call us to wait, others to grow, and some require us to let go—but every season is ordained by God for His glory and our good.

Don’t become discouraged when things begin to change. What may feel like an ending could be God preparing you for a new beginning. Trust His timing, remain faithful, and keep moving forward, knowing that He is working all things together according to His perfect plan.
