God Is Re-Routing Me!

Romans 8:28: "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose."

Sometimes it feels like we have missed God because we didn't follow His direction to the letter. But just as a GPS recalculates our route when we miss a turn or pass an exit, God is able to redirect our steps.

Romans 8:28 reminds us that all things work together for good to them that love God and are called according to His purpose. That includes the missed turns, wrong decisions, unexpected detours, and even the situations we should have exited a long time ago.

The good news is that a missed turn does not mean a missed opportunity for God to fulfill His purpose in our lives. His grace allows us to adjust, His wisdom teaches us, and His direction leads us forward.

Don't spend today dwelling on where you should have turned or when you should have exited. Trust God with where you are and allow Him to direct your next steps.

God is re-routing me today! I will trust His direction, follow His leading, and embrace where He is taking me.

Just believe. God is still working!

Stop doubting Him, or wondering how He’s going to get it done. Your position should remain the same as you allow The Father to work it out. He’s already shown Himself before, trust that He will do it again.

Process It Through the Spirit

2 Corinthians 10:4-6 "4)For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; 5)Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6) And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled."

Let's get back to what we were taught years ago: “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.”

The truth is, it's not always what someone says about you or to you—it's what you say to yourself. “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.”

What people say may be hurtful, hateful, and insensitive. But what gives their words weight is how you process them.

Try processing what is said to you or about you through the Spirit of God. Ask yourself: Does God's Word agree with what was said? If it doesn't, then let it go.

There's nothing to see here. Move on!

Don't become an accident on the side of the road of life, with people slowing down to look but never stopping to help.

You don't have to carry everything people say about you. Let God's Word have the final say!

Process it through the Spirit, then keep moving!

Ecclesiastes 3:1 “To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”

This hit me like a ton of bricks…

To everything, there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven. One of the things we struggle with most is learning to make the necessary adjustments when the season changes.

Sometimes the hardest part is recognizing that the season has changed. The calendar may have changed, but the temperature may still feel the same.

Just because you don't immediately see or feel the change doesn't mean the season hasn't shifted.

There are times when God is moving us into something new, but we are still trying to function according to the requirements of the old season. And when we refuse to adjust, we can create unnecessary damage, confusion, frustration, and hurt.

**Changing gracefully is a core value. **

I pray that God gives you the wisdom to recognize when the season has changed, the courage to make the necessary adjustments, and the grace to transition with the least amount of damage, confusion, and hurt.

May we learn to embrace what God is doing—even when it requires us to change. In Jesus' name, Amen!
