LATE POST! Another wonderful and successful year at Senator Alonzo Washington & Park View Baptist Church's 10th Annual Palmer Park Block Party and School Resource Fair. Thank you to everyone who helped make our annual day a huge success! Park View, along with your generous donations, financial contributions and Senator Alonzo’s team, we were able to provide 300 plus backpacks with supplies to members within our community and to the surrounding area. A special thank you to Delegates Nicole Williams and Ashanti Martinez, various vendors and our hard-working Park View volunteers for your participation as well! Senator Alonzo & crew again did an amazing job and we had excellent participation from our wonderful and dedicated church members! Thank you again Pastor Marc White and Park View...small in number, mighty in Spirit! God always blesses our efforts! For whatever part you played, whether it was monetary donations, to donating supplies or compiling the backpacks, we thank you! Whether it was a warm smile while helping distribute backpacks or serving food...we truly love and appreciate you! Thanks again Senator Washington for your continued hard work for our community! LATE POST: A Celebration to Remember! From our Pre-Anniversary Kick-off Celebration, to our two Thursday week night services, to our sold out Anniversary Banquet at Martin's Crosswinds, God truly blessed our 60th Church Anniversary! Park View, we showed up and showed out!

Thank you to all who made this day a great success: Pastor Sean A. Burch and the Spirit of Unity Baptist Church family; Pastor Damion Briggs and the Eastern Community Church; Pastor Marcellous A. Buckner and the Victory Life Center and Elder Yolanda Flowers, Shining Star Freewill Baptist Church; all for equipping us with God's Word. Thank you also, Rev. Tawana Twitty, a daughter of Park View, for ushering in the Spirit of the Lord as our worship leader at our celebratory banquet!

Words can not express the joy and love we felt during this entire process and we truly thank each and everyone who helped, whether big or small, to make this celebration a success! We are small, but great in Spirit and mighty in Jesus Christ! 🙌🏾🙏🏽🙌🏾 God has truly proven His Love for Park View and we know "Our Hope is in God's Grace" (1 Cor. 1:9) Praise God and onward to another 60!
