First United Methodist Church of Landis

First United Methodist Church of Landis First UMC of Landis is a small church in the heart of Landis, NC. We're family oriented and active. Landis is a small town much like any other.

Many of the people who live here were born here and have lived here all of their lives. The town's economy was based largely on the textile mills both in town and in Kannapolis. There are some small mills still in existence, but there are few good paying jobs in this part of the county. The population within a 3 mile radius of the church is almost 21,000 people.

We are grateful for the opportunity to provide food assistance during the Christmas season. Our distribution hours will be Monday, December 22, from 11am to 1pm, and Tuesday, December 23, from 4pm to 5:30pm. If you are aware of families or individuals in need of Christmas dinner essentials, please encourage them to visit us during these scheduled times.
