🎬 Tuesday Night Live Recap 🎬

We had such a fun night at Youth Group! We started by worshiping together and then jumped into our lesson about grace, what it means to be a Methodist, and prevenient grace how God is always working in our lives, even before we realize it.

Then we got creative! The students worked together to make their own movies based on different Bible stories. It was so much fun watching them take stories from Scripture and put their own spin on them! They will be making props next week! 

We also wrote thank-you cards to the people who have faithfully been bringing dinner for our students over the last few months. We are so thankful for everyone who pours into our youth!

And of course, we had to have some fun too! We played a silly “try not to laugh” moo game and had yelling races to see which of my very loud teenagers could yell the longest while racing. 😂

I’m so proud of these students and the way they continue to learn, worship, serve, laugh, and grow together.

Last night was such a fun night at Youth! 🙌

We learned that we have the ability to make BIG changes! We took a look at the history of the Methodist Church and learned how John Wesley followed God’s calling and helped start the Methodist movement. It was such a great reminder that one person who is willing to step out in faith can make a BIG difference! ✝️

Then we got really hands-on! We walked around the room and wrote down things we don’t like or think could be better about Church and Youth Group. From there, we split into teams, picked one of the things on the list, and came up with a solution for how WE could help make it better! 💡

We want our students to know that they aren’t just here to attend they have a voice, they have ideas, and they have the ability to help create positive change in their church and community.

And of course, we had to celebrate two of our amazing volunteers! 🎂 Happy Birthday to Rich and Ben! We are SO thankful for everything you both do for our students and for the way you pour into our ministry!

What a night of learning, dreaming, problem-solving, celebrating, and growing together! 🫶

📚🏠 HOMEWORK AT THE HUT IS BACK! 🎉

We can’t wait to see everyone this afternoon! 💙

As summer vacations are wrapping up, we won’t have any tutors available tonight, but we should have our awesome tutors back going forward! 🙌📖

Come hang out, get some homework done, and enjoy some time at the Hut! We’re so excited to have everyone back! 🫶✨

Tuesday Night Live was a GOOD one!! 🙌🏼🔥

We got to hear from an awesome guest speaker Frank, played some CRAZY cup games, got competitive with Gaga Ball, and had a whole lot of fun! 😂

So thankful for nights like tonight God is good! ✝️

Such a fun pool day with our Youth Group! ☀️💦 We had a great time swimming, laughing, and enjoying some fellowship together before heading back to school! 💙

So thankful for these awesome kids and the memories we get to make together!

So proud of some of our amazing Youth Ministry kids for getting up early and serving breakfast to the men’s group at our church this morning! 💙

They did such a great job, and I love seeing our youth serving and being involved in our church community! ✝️
