A Message from Rabbi Karen Tashman
With a broken heart, I have prayed for those taken hostage, those who have lost loved ones and for strength of all our Israeli brothers and sisters. These photos are from my last trip to S'derot, one of the communities in Israel that was viciously attacked last week by Hamas. The words on this wall translate as "Path to Peace". Each of these ceramic tiles include a personal prayer for peace. In the 2nd photo, I have written my prayer on the back of my tile and am adding it to this meaningful project.
May we live to see the day where we can live in peace.
I look forward to seeing you in person this coming Shabbat.

Today we celebrate the first day of the month of Tammuz

In 2021, we received a Torah of our own. Gulfport’s Congregation Beth Shalom, which closed its doors after being in operation since 1958, generously donated their Torah to our congregation. With this incredible gift, we are proud to help keep Judaism alive in the Tampa Bay region. We will forever be grateful of Congregation Beth Shalom’s incredible gesture.
