Fifty years of love, commitment, and dedication is truly something to celebrate. We know the journey hasn’t always been easy, but through every challenge and every joy, God’s guidance and grace have carried you both through. What a blessing it is to see a love that has remained strong through all of life’s seasons.

What a wonderful morning in church today.

Before the offering, Randy stormed the pulpit in his military uniform to give as he called it a “shameless plug” for this year’s VBS Boot Camp! 🇺🇸✝️ The church is looking for military props that can be borrowed during June VBS to help transform the church and create an unforgettable experience for the kids while keeping the focus on God in our lives.

They are also looking for volunteers to help make VBS a success. If you’d like to serve, donate props, or be part of the fun, now is the perfect time to get involved! The QR code is in one of the pictures for more information and to sign up to volunteer.

Donnie Helms honored Scott and Debrah for celebrating 50 years of marriage and presented them with a special card letting them know they would be going on an adventure together to celebrate their love. What a beautiful testimony of faithfulness, commitment, and enduring love.

Pastor Scott Laws then preached from 1 Corinthians 13:1-7 and shared about what many call the “11th Commandment” from John 13:34:
“A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you…”

His message reminded us that love is more than words — it is patience, kindness, grace, forgiveness, and sacrifice. Jesus didn’t just command us to love one another; He showed us how.

What a fitting reminder after celebrating 50 years of marriage that true love reflects the heart of Christ. ❤️
