Van Wyck Presbyterian Church provides worship of God at the Sunday service, opportunities for Christian education for people of all ages, participation in local and global outreach activities, and involvement in the close-knit community. Members of our church strive to be active in the church and community and take pride in caring for the quaint, yet elegant church. The 125-seat church was built i

n the rural community by a congregation of 27 people in 1911. At that time, the brick church with the bell tower stood alone on a dirt road with no electricity. The same building still serves the church’s 120 members who enjoy each others company in worship and in fellowship. VWPC is a member of Providence Presbytery, Synod of South Atlantic and PCUSA. We are easily accessible from Lancaster, Rock Hill, Indian Land, Sun City Carolina Lakes, Waxhaw and surrounding areas.

Our sermon series on "Interruptions: When God Meets Us Off Script" has given us an unexpected opportunity to experience God's grace in our own space!!!

Youth will hang out immediately afterwards for pizza and packing breakfast bags for the unsheltered guests at Bethel Shelters.

A Service to Celebrate the Life of Midori Adachi Iwatake, mother of Mika Sinclair, will be at 4:00pm Thursday August 13 at Baker Funeral Home (210 E. Hilton Street, Kershaw, S.C). Visitation with the family will immediately follow the service through 6:00pm.

Please continue to hold in prayer Mika & Jeremy and their family.
