Hello Highlands family, this is Pastor Joe. It’s exciting times at our church. Starting this Sunday (May 24th) we are beginning a new chapter for our church. The main emphasis of our mission is going to be a renewed focus on the study of God’s word. Every Sunday morning we will be opening the scripture and letting the Holy Spirit guide us. Also, in the next few weeks we are going to begin our mid-week study which will be going straight through a book of the Bible. This study will be line by line, verse by verse and will be streamed for those who can’t make it. Anytime a revival breaks out in the church, it is because of a new emphasis on scripture. So that is the plan! I Am personally inviting you and your family to join us. Kids classes will be available, and all are welcome.Bring your Bible and come worship with us.

✨ Welcome Home, Pastor Joe Duncan! ✨

We are beyond excited to officially welcome Pastor Joe Duncan back to the Highlands family as our new Senior Pastor! ❤️

Pastor Joe and his wife, Laura, have been married for 22 years and are the proud parents of Ellie and Calum. Many of you already know and love the Duncan family from Pastor Joe’s time serving here at Highlands Community Church as Assistant Pastor, and we are so thankful that God has led them back to Highlands in this new season of ministry.

Pastor Joe has a deep passion for teaching God’s Word and helping people grow in their faith through a greater understanding of Scripture. We are excited for the vision, leadership, and heart for ministry that he brings as he steps into this role.

📖 Pastor Joe will be preaching his first sermon as Senior Pastor on Sunday, May 24th!

Be sure to give Pastor Joe and his family a warm Highlands welcome when you see them around the building this Sunday. We can’t wait to see what God has in store for this next chapter at Highlands! 💙
