As we pray for peace in our world, we also have an opportunity to reflect on the journey that was Holy Week. It was a spiritual invitation, to welcome all to St. Edward's - this community of faith - to participate in that long road from Palm Sunday through midweek Contemplative Eucharist and Meditation, the Paschal Triduum, and renewing our Baptismal Vows and singing praises of Alleluia, Alleluia! on Easter Sunday. We were all changed by the experience - all 500+ folks coming together for this most Holy Week. In this Eastertide, let us keep the love, hope, and joy in our hearts that our world needs and let us continue to pray for world peace.

We are just two weeks away from our book launch event. . . it will be an exciting evening of conversation with the author (our very own Father Rick!), book signing, and delicious "small bites."

We will have books for purchase (and personalized signing) at the event with proceeds to benefit the Rector's Discretionary Fund. Forms of payment accepted: Cash, check or credit card.

If you have not RSVP'd, please do so this week so that we may plan our space to be inviting and accommodating and our food to be plentiful! RSVP details are in the image above. And, as mentioned in prior communications, we encourage you to invite/bring a friend! This is a perfect way to show others the very special community we have!

We are very excited for this opportunity to congratulate Father Rick on his accomplishment and to explore what is truly an invitation to an amazing journey. . .for each of us!
