“When the enemy comes in like a flood, the spirit of the Lord will rise up again him”. We’ve all heard this Bible verse, we’ve heard it explained and even taken apart, moved the comma etc.
While in prayer yesterday the Lord laid something on my heart about this verse. Maybe it’s just for me, maybe it will be for someone else as well.
Never in this verse does it say that “we” or “me” or to insert your name… it doesn’t say Missy will rise up against it… it says the spirit of the LORD will rise up against it!!!
Some of us are trying to fight battles that we were not intended to fight!!
Maybe it’s time for you to rest and let the Lord fight for you!!
Be at peace!! He’s got your back, front and side to side!!

Paul entered Scripture as Saul, the self-professed Pharisee of all Pharisees. He was bloodthirsty and angry, determined to extinguish anything and everyone Christian.

His attitude began to change on the road to Damascus. That’s when Jesus appeared, knocked him off his high horse, and left him sightless for three days. Paul could see only one direction—inward. And what he saw he did not like.

So God showed him a better way. Paul got grace…or grace got Paul. Either way, he embraced the improbable offer that God would make us right with him through Jesus Christ. Paul’s logic followed a simple outline: Our debt is enough to sink us, God loves us too much to leave us, so God has found a way to save us.

JESUS is faithful to his promises. In spite of mans sinful ways and unfaithfulness, JESUS is faithful to his promises.No matter how far you think you are from GOD and how many promises you have broken, JESUS is faithful to his promises. He is faithful and just to forgive all our sin!

REMEMBER
Today is the day we call Good Friday. The day we think about and reflect on the death of Jesus.
There were two other men on the hill that day. One mocked Him, one recognized Him!! The one asked that He remember him, and Jesus promised, THAT day, he would be with Him in paradise!
It doesn’t matter if you are like the thief on the cross. He can remember you!! Maybe, you’ve made a covenant with Him that you’ve not held up your end! He can renew you!!
Today is YOUR day to REMEMBER!

God's Gonna Pivot
We always want to see God’s hand, but you can't forget to watch His feet. Because sometimes He wants to set a different direction.

When He pivots, you need to be quick to go with Him. You need to be quick to say, “God, I don’t want Your hand, I want Your face. I want to know You. I want to seek You. I want to understand what You know I need to understand.”

I wonder, is God trying to pivot your prayer life? Is God trying to pivot your strategizing? Is God trying to pivot your trajectory?

Because we're always trying to look for Him in logic. We’re always trying to look for Him in analysis and in calculation, but God is spirit, and we can’t get to spirit through strategy.

You’ve got to come to Him with open arms, open hands, and an open heart.
